Pant Nagar police have booked a policeman on charges of raping a 40-year interior designer on the pretext of marriage.

“We have registered an offense against the police and our investigation is currently underway,” said Suhas Kamble, senior inspector of Pant Nagar police Station.

According to the police, in her written complaint, an interior designer alleged that 42-year- old policeman raped her the pretext of marriage.
